"Oppressed" Muslim Women
"Nobody has the right to turn out and tell me that I can’t wear a certain outfit, that I can’t go out to a certain place because I would be safer, or because a man looks at me…"

"was she drunk?"
"did she sleep around?"
here’s the thing: rape happens regardless of these factors. that’s why it’s happened for centuries and that’s why it also happens to men, children, and people of all ages. rape is not about sex. it’s about exerting power over someone. stop protecting rapists.
photos from dubai’s 828 meter tall burj khalifa (save the first and last photos, which show the building) by (click pic) daniel cheong, karim nafatni, bjoern lauen and dave alexander. duabai only experiences this in september and march, when seasonal changes in temperature creates an abundance of early morning fog. How blessed I am to be a Muslim!
-> I say a simple Salaam to someone, I’m rewarded.
-> I smile at someone, I’m rewarded.
-> I pray in Masjid with Jamaat, I’m rewarded 27 times more than those who pray alone.
-> I begin anything with Bismillah, that action of mine is rewarded.
-> I think of doing a good deed, I’m rewarded.
-> I control my temper, I’m rewarded.
-> I hold the glass with my right hand while drinking, I’m rewarded.
Alhumdulillah for everything!❞
